Our Lady made five promises to Marie-Claire Mukangango in Kibeho, Rwanda, for those who pray her Rosary of the Seven Sorrows.
Presented here is this remarkable rosary, just as the Virgin Mary herself taught it to Marie-Claire in Kibeho, Rwanda. Both the full version and a shorter version are included, the latter being based on the complete version taught by Our Lady. When time is limited, the shorter version may be used, though the full version is always recommended for greater spiritual benefit. What matters most, in any case, is the faith and reverence with which this devotion is carried out: the Lord and His Blessed Mother see the intentions we carry in our hearts.
We should pray this rosary daily, if possible, but especially on the following days: Fridays, in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus; Tuesdays, in memory of the first apparition to Marie-Claire on Tuesday, March 2, 1982; September 14, the Feast of the Holy Cross; and September 15, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.
Notice:
While the versions of the Daily Meditation and the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows presented in this site are recommended for their profound meditations and prayers as taught by Our Lady, any other version, if prayed with devotion, is equally valid.
Advise:
1) It is essential not to reduce this devotion to a superstition: nothing is guaranteed without true faith and a coherent Christian life. Otherwise, we would be dishonoring the mercy of God, who offers this devotion to His Mother as a help for us to one day attain eternal life.
2) It is also vital to remain humble, acknowledging that it is very difficult—if not impossible—to always pray and meditate with the faith, devotion, reverence, and focus required to obtain the promises of this devotion. Rather than discouraging us, this should move us to ask the Lord and His Blessed Mother to look more upon our intentions and our sincere desire to carry out this beautiful practice. And we must trust that, more by their mercy than by our own actions, we may obtain the promises attached to this devotion.
